Firstly we are giving you trick. After learning the trick of Biosphere, in the end we will discuss some importent things. Its is a easy way by which anyone can remember list of biosphere reserves in India.
Aruna Didi simple si odhni pehnke DIAS pe chadhgai. Major Badal(Meghraj) ki awaj crack ho gyi. Aesi Andhi chali ki MAT pucho. Man se program ki AAS uth gyi.
Just learn that above sentence. And you are done with whole list of biosphere reserves. Is that amazing? Lets see.
UNECSO’s Man and Biosphere program added total 11 Biophere reserves under MAB program. So, what are these? If one country declares one area as a biosphere reserve, it can nominate the same to under the UNESCO’s Man and Biosphere (MAB) Programme. If UNESCO accepts the proposal of the government, the biosphere reserve will enter into the World Network of Biosphere Reserves. 11 of the 18 biosphere reserves in India are a part of the World Network of Biosphere Reserves which is based on the UNESCO Man and the Biosphere (MAB) Programme list. These are-:
Now you need two revisions and thats all. Comment below any topic on which you want post. And we will make that topic easier for everyone.
TO know the difference in Biosphere reserves, we need to understand what is a Biosphere reserve.
Core area-This is the most protected area, prioritizing the conservation of biological diversity and the monitoring of little disturbed ecosystems. The core area also contributes to the maintenance of ecosystem services (provisioning, regulating and cultural services), for example; carbon capture, soil stabilization or the supply of drinking water, among others.
Buffer zone: The buffer zone surrounds the core areas and can host activities that are compatible with the environment. This zone also reduces the impact of human activities on the core area and is essential for maintaining biological and cultural diversity. It also promotes biological connectivity that acts as a natural corridor between the core zone and the transition zone.
Transition Zone, or Area of Cooperation: This area is fundamental for the management and sustainable development of natural resources. A much wider range of economic activities that benefit the socio-economic development of local populations can take place here. However, these activities must respect the specific goals of each reserve. Def by UNESCOMedCenter. (Extra knowledge-:To know about areas and date of notification of Biosphere reserve click here.)
